Why Adopivo exists

In shelters and at rescue organisations, animals wait every day for one thing: a home where they are allowed to stay. Not just for a few weeks. Not just for a while. But forever.

Adopivo grew from exactly that thought — so that animals and people find each other, on a path that is honest, that builds trust, and that leads to an adoption that lasts.

What Adopivo believes

A good adoption is more than a click. It is a promise — from you to a dog, a cat, a rabbit or another animal that may have been waiting for the right person for quite a while. Adopivo believes that every animal deserves this chance. And that you, as an adopter, deserve a counterpart you can trust: a shelter or rescue organisation that works openly, competently and seriously.

That is why what stands at the centre of Adopivo is not a "marketplace", but a real connection between you and the organisation that truly knows the animal.

What Adopivo does

Adopivo is the place where you find verified shelters and rescue organisations and where you can get in touch with them.

Adopivo makes sure that only reputable organisations are active. Every organisation is verified before being approved — based on the country-specific documents that apply. Commercial breeders and commercial pet dealers have no place on Adopivo.

You can search for animals, filter by location, radius and many other attributes, and save favourites. As soon as you are interested in an animal, you write to the responsible organisation directly — through Adopivo, safely and protected. From there you shape the rest of the way together: you get to know each other, the organisation checks whether it fits, and once everything is right, the new home begins.
