How it works
Adopivo connects people who want to give an animal a home with verified shelters and non-profit animal welfare organizations. Adopivo is purely a contact platform — the adoption itself you arrange directly with the organization.
A few steps to your new family member
- Discover animals. Search animals from animal welfare by location, postal code, radius, species, age and size — or find shelters near you on the map.
- View the profile. Every animal has a detailed profile with photos, character, health and adoption requirements. Save animals as favourites to find them again later.
- Create an account. Register for free and confirm your email address. Only then can you contact shelters — that protects both sides.
- Get in touch. Message the shelter directly via your Adopivo inbox. All conversations stay bundled in one place; if you wish, you are notified about new messages by email.
- Arrange the adoption with the shelter. Self-disclosure, home check, adoption contract and any transport are handled directly between you and the organization — outside of Adopivo.
What Adopivo does — and what it doesn't
- Adopivo establishes the contact between you and verified shelters.
- Adopivo does not conclude adoption or protection contracts and is not a broker in the legal sense.
- Adopivo does not collect protection fees and does not organize animal transport.
- The decision on an adoption is made solely by the respective shelter.
Why verified shelters?
Every organization is checked against country-specific documents before being activated. Commercial breeders and commercial animal dealers are excluded. So you know: behind every profile stands genuine animal welfare.
